CKF Industrial leaders at the GCA Installation Ceremony

Earlier this year, CKF Industrial Contractors had the honor of attending the General Contractors Association (GCA) of Hawaii’s 2025 Installation Ceremony at The Royal Hawaiian Resort in Waikīkī.

This signature event marked a new chapter of leadership and community progress for Hawaiʻi’s construction industry.

That evening, leadership officially shifted from Michael Young of Albert C. Kobayashi, Inc., who was finishing his term as president, to the new president, Russell Inouye of Koga Engineering & Construction, Inc.

We were proud to stand alongside industry peers as the full 2025 board was installed, including 1st Vice President Michael Inouye, 2nd Vice President Aaron Yahiku, Treasurer Michael Venezia, and Immediate Past President Michael Young.

A Night to Reflect and Look Forward

For CKF Industrial, the Installation Ceremony was more than just a formal event — it was a reminder of the relationships, teamwork, and shared goals that push Hawaiʻi’s construction industry to new heights.

We’re excited about the incredible opportunities ahead and grateful for the chance to work alongside such dedicated and talented people,” said Cheriese Flores, President of CKF Industrial Contractors, LLC.

Honoring Industry Contributions

It was also inspiring to see recognition given to the Workforce Development Committee, honored for advancing programs like BreakingGround808, and the Board of Water Supply Committee, awarded for improving contractor-agency collaboration.

These efforts reflect the industry’s commitment to investing in future generations and strengthening partnerships across Hawaiʻi’s construction sector.

Here’s to a Big Year Ahead

As we move through 2025, CKF Industrial Contractors is ready to keep building, collaborating, and contributing to Hawaiʻi’s thriving construction community.

Here’s to a year full of purpose, growth, and achievements — let’s make it one for the books!
