On Janurary 30, 2025, leaders from across Hawaiʻi’s construction industry gathered to recognize Tom Diersbock, Executive Vice President of Hensel Phelps, as the 2025 Outstanding Union Builder of the Year. The award was presented by the Hawaiʻi Regional Council of Carpenters and Pacific Resource Partnership.
Tom was honored for his leadership, commitment to union values, and dedication to building strong labor partnerships in Hawaiʻi. His work has shaped both Hensel Phelps and the broader union construction community across the islands.
